Get Help

Want to know more about Kauai Community Cat Project and how you can support this important work? Found a cat outside and have questions? Here’s where to find the help you need.

Please check all of the tabs on our website to find answers to most of your questions. Also, you may email us with questions at: [email protected].
Please go to the Report a Sighting link at the top of this page and fill out the form. Fill in as much information as possible, and we will contact you to come up with a plan to help the kitty. In order to help us help you and the cat, it’s useful if you feed the cat on a schedule. That way, we can work with you to trap the cat by arriving at feeding time. We will arrange to get it spayed or neutered, and then work on finding it a home. NOTE: We are a small volunteer organization, so it may take several days for us to respond.
The answer to this question can be fairly complicated. Often, distasteful behaviors such as spraying and loud meowing are the result of mating activities, and these can be curtailed or stopped if the cats are TNR’d. After the cats are spayed or neutered, they will no longer be searching for mates, and the offensive behavior stops.
Yes! We would be happy to help you with TNR’ing outdoor cats that you see. Please contact us via email: [email protected].

We’d like to thank Alley Cat Allies for being a great resource of information on community cats. We have based many of the answers to questions here on what Alley Cat Allies has published on their website, but we have added additional information to make our answers Kauai specific.
