Kimo, a Very Lucky Kitty!

Success Stories | January 19, 2015

Aloha. My name’s  Kimo, and this is my story. I was a kitten dumped on the Kalalau Trail and begging for food from tourists. Luckily for me, a kind-hearted tourist told Kauai Community Cat Project (KCCP) about me. They arranged to have someone hike in to catch me and bring me back out civilization and to be neutered. My mom, who’s part of KCCP, adopted me right after I got fixed. It’s great to have a steady supply of good food and a place where I don’t get rained on! My mom called me her terrorist kitty because I was always getting into things and bothering her other kitties. But all that changed when my mom took in a foster kitty and decided to keep her: I became her big brother, and played with her and protected her. Just recently, my mom fostered another little kitten, and, well, she ended up staying, too! And now I’m big brother to her, also. The three of us are tabbies, and my mom calls us The Terrible Tabby Trio; my mom says we sound like a herd of elephants running around the house. I am a very lucky kitty!
